Felicity jones is a British actress best famous for her portrayal of Jane Hawking. She played Jane Hawking of Jane Hawking in The Theory of Everything, that was critically acclaimed. Jones has been an actor since the age of twelve, has appeared in numerous TV shows and films. Her professional career began in the TV film The Treasure Seekers. Then she played the character in Ethel Hallow another television show called The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. Her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she played the lead role in), Young Ruth, she went on to play in other movies. In The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she made a name for herself in her performance. It was however her character in The Theory of Everything' that won her the Oscar award for the first time. The biopic was inspired by the scientist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was highly praised by audiences and critics due to her superb portrayal of Hawking's former wife. The film was followed by Inferno which was a horror film that starred Tom Hanks. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles awarded Jones with the British Artist of the Year in 2016 due to her extraordinary talents and contributions to the film.
