Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, Puy-deDomme France in August 9th 1976. Audrey Tautou is the fourth child among four children. Her parents were dentists as well as a teacher recognized and supported her love of acting and theatre at an early age, which was more important than a desire to be a primatologist due to her fascination with monkeys. Her rise to fame as an actress in her early years was rapid and accompanied by early success. It was only at the age of 1999 the year she first began performing professionally. In the years following her studies, Tautou was a participant in the French television show for talent scouting called Jeunes Premiers. Along with her acting career she also pursued a modeling career. Also, she is the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. She is a keen photographer and has recently exhibited during the Arles International Festival that was titled Superficial. The majority of her photography is focused on the spotlight and celebrities and turns the camera on the media who sat on her shoulders after her meteoric rise to stardom with Amelie as well as several self-portraits. Audrey Tautou's global popularity and success exploded following her performance as Amelie Poulain's main actress in the film Le Fabuleux Destin in the film d'Amelie. Amelie gained international attention due to its success at the box office. It also received praise during awards ceremonies around the world. It is the most successful French language film in the US. In the wake of this achievement, Tautou was featured in a wide range of film productions ranging that ranged from British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday de fiancailles, and then he moved into Hollywood with Ron Howard's direction of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code together with Tom Hanks.
