In the wake of her relocation was announced, Apryl made an appearance as a contestant on the American Idol reality show but was not able to make it to the top. Apryl attempted to get an audition on Making the Band, but this too didn't go well for her. Apryl tried out for Pussycat Dolls in Search For The Next Doll. Apryl did not get chosen as she did not make an impact on the judges. Then she went to see a famous singer who invited her to join a tour as backup vocalist. In the following months, the couple decided to become one of eight original castmembers in Vh1's Hollywood. In the initial season, Megaa and her husband had a baby boy. In the second season she reveals the conflicts with her professional life and the insecurities which accompany her newfound fame. Apryl and Omarion did not attend the recording of the reunion show from the second season because he was touring. Apryl was informed on December 7 on the 7th of December in 2015. that Omarion and Apryl had quit their show. On March 7 2016 Apryl gave birth to their daughter A'mei Kazuko Grandberry. After four months, Apryl and Omarion have announced their split. Apryl appeared on the show during Season 4 where she met up along with Lil' Fizz, to discuss a B2K reunion. Apryl returned to the show for season six, chronicling her custody dispute with Omarion as well as the speculation in the press and scrutiny about her relationship with Lil' Fizz. Both admit their romantic involvement which causes Apryl to fight with Moniece.
